SEALED PROPOSALS for bidding on LUC Metroparks Paving, FY2019 will be received; opened;
and read aloud at the Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area, Fallen Timbers Field Office,
6101 Fallen Timbers Lane, Maumee, Ohio 43537 Friday, May 10, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. local time.
THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of asphalt resurfacing and new asphalt paving of approximately
26,450 square yards of select lots and drives within five Metroparks Toledo locations – all in Lucas County. General construction includes asphalt paving, catch basin repair & adjustment, pavement planing, pavement marking, concrete curb, and topsoil, seed & mulch.
Sealed Bids for WL-101 Trunk Water Main Repairs will be received by the Northwestern Water & Sewer District, at the 12560 Middleton Pike, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 until 11:00am local time on May 1, 2019, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
In general, the work consists of repairs and improvements to the water transmission line along East Broadway Street. These improvements involve new flow meter structure and replacement of an existing valve chamber and associated piping. It also includes replacement of existing valves and other equipment identified along the water main. Technical questions regarding the project should be e-mailed to the Project Manager Theodore A. Sealed Bids for I-70 Pump Station Replacement, will be received by the City of Englewood, at the City Offices, 333 West National Road, Englewood, Ohio 45322 until 12:00 noon, local time, on May 8, 2019, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
In general, the work consists of removal of pumping equipment, piping, and electrical and control equipment in the existing I-70 pump station; modifying the sanitary sewers in the immediate area of the pump station; installing a new duplex submersible pump station adjacent to the existing pump station; installing new discharge piping and valves in the existing pump station and installing new electrical and control equipment in the existing pump station. Engineer’s Estimate is $410,000.

Sealed proposals marked for “LUC – OLD MILLARD AVENUE BRIDGE (Rebid)” will be received by the City
of Oregon, Ohio, at the Office of the Director of Public Service at the Oregon Municipal Building,
5330 Seaman Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616-2608, until 10:00 A.M., local time, on Tuesday, April 23,
2019, and then opened and read.
The proposed work consists of replacing an existing reinforced concrete tee beam bridge with a 54 ft span composite prestressed concrete box beam bridge supported on semi integral abutments on drilled shafts. The project also includes roadway, drainage, pavement, erosion control, maintenance of traffic and miscellaneous work required to complete the bridge improvement.

Sealed Bids will be received by the Board of Defiance County Commissioners, c/o Ms. Stephanie Metz, in their office, 500 Court Street, Suite “A”, Defiance, Ohio 43512, until 10:30 a.m. EDT, Thursday, April 18, 2019, when they will be opened and read, for the Defiance County Fairgrounds Senior Citizens and Veterans Pavilion located at 530 South Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Beilharz Architects, Inc.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (base bid plus all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier’s check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (base bid plus all add alternates), in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders
