  1. SEALED PROPOSALS for bidding on The Whetstone Loop Trail Project, 5430 Rudyard Rd, Sylvania, OH 43560, will be received; opened; and read aloud at the The Olander Park System, Callahan Administrative Building, 6930 Sylvania Ave, Sylvania, Ohio 43560, on Friday, November 20th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. local time.

    THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of construction of an 8 foot wide, paved, multi-use path and bike trail, approx. 1400 total feet in length around the perimeter of the park property. General construction includes earthwork, minor asphalt cutting and removal, aggregate base, new asphalt installation, topsoil, seeding and mulching.

    A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 5th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Open Air Pavilion at Whetstone Park, 5430 Rudyard Rd, Sylvania, OH 43560. Interested bidders will have the opportunity to review the project site immediately following the meeting.


  2. SEALED PROPOSALS for bidding on Metroparks Toledo – Riverside Trail East,
    1001 Front St., Toledo, Ohio 43608 will be received; opened; and read aloud at the Metropolitan
    Park District of the Toledo Area, Fallen Timbers Field Office, 6101 Fallen Timbers Lane, Maumee, Ohio 43537 Friday, November 20, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. local time.

    THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of construction of a 12’ wide x 0.68 mile asphalt bike path connection from Main Street to Marina Drive including a 110’ x 20’ pedestrian bridge over Main Street. General construction includes erosion control; storm drainage; asphalt and concrete pavement; segmental and cast-in-place concrete retaining walls; concrete bridge abutments; steel bridge with concrete deck; railings; landscape plantings, trellises & planters.

    COVID-19 UPDATE: In the event the office is not staffed to receive early, hand-delivered bids, bidders may drop off sealed bids to the aforementioned office address through the front door slot. Staff will be present at the Fallen Timbers Field Office for one hour prior to bid opening. If social distancing becomes problematic due to bid-opening turnout, the opening will be held outside or in an adjacent larger facility. Masks are required.

    Sealed Bids for Wabash Cannonball Trail Interceptor Sewer, will be received by the Village of Whitehouse, at the 6925 Providence Street P.O. Box 2476, Whitehouse, Ohio 43571, until 11:00 AM, local time, on November 4, 2020, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

    In general, the work consists of installing approximately 6,300 linear feet of 24-inch and 18-inch sanitary sewer. The work also includes a bored casing stream crossing under Blue Creek, demolition of two pump stations and structural repairs to the Finzel Rd. Pump Station Wet Well.

    43606. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be examined at the Owner’s office listed above or the issuing office, without charge.

    Sealed bids will be received by the Engineering Department of the City of Lorain, Ohio until:

    TIME AND PLACE FOR OPENING BIDS:

    Bids shall be opened on Friday, October 30, 2020, 11:00 AM local time, in the Lorain City Hall, Council Chambers, 1st Floor
    Floor.

    Bids must be accompanied by Certified Check or Cashier’s Check or Letter of Credit equals to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or a bond for the full amount of the bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a performance bond properly secured. Should any bid be rejected, such instrument will be forthwith returned upon proper execution of a contract. Cash deposits will not be accepted. The bid check/bond should be enclosed in the sealed bid, but in a
    separate envelope clearly marked ‘BID CHECK/ BOND’ with the bidders name & address on the bid check/bond envelope.

    Sealed proposals marked for “SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT PHASE 5, PART A” will be received by the City of Oregon, Ohio, at the Office of the Director of Public Service at the Oregon Municipal Building, 5330 Seaman Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616, until 2:00 P.M., local time, on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 , and then opened and read aloud.

    The scope of work includes cleaning, video inspecting, and lining of 6 inch and 8 inch diameter sanitary sewers. The work also includes sanitary sewer lateral rehabilitation by trenchless cured-in-place lining methods, sanitary sewer manhole lining, sanitary sewer point repairs by excavation, and related work.

    2020 at 3:00 p.m. local time.
