Sealed bids will be received until March 13, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. when they will be read at the following location: Van Wert City School District, 205 West Crawford Street, Van Wert, Ohio 45891.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on February 23, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. at the following location: Jefferson Elementary Building 1120 Buckeye Drive Van Wert, OH 45891.
Contract Documents may be obtained by placing a deposit with Newfax Corporation, 333 West Woodruff Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43604 (Phone: 419-241-5157 or 800-877-5157) in the amount of $200.00 per set payable to the Van Wert City Schools. Sets will be shipped by UPS at Bidder’s expense. Deposits will be refunded to Bidders returning documents in like new condition, NB - 2 OSFC September 2008 00 1115-2 without markings, to:

Bowen + Associates, Inc., 2100 Lost Creek Boulevard, Suite B, Lima, Ohio 45804, within 30 days after the bid opening.No more than 3 sets will be provided on a refundable basis to a Bidder; additional sets may be purchased. The successful Bidder will have the deposit refunded. Partial sets will not be issued. Documents will not be available at the Architect’s office or the Construction Manger’s Office on a walk-in basis, except by prior arrangement.

SEALED PROPOSALS for bidding on Westside Rail Corridor Railroad Bridge Demolition, Metroparks of the Toledo Area, Toledo, Ohio will be received; opened; and read aloud at the Metropolitan Park District of the Toledo Area, Fallen Timbers Field Office, 6101 Fallen Timbers Lane, Maumee, Ohio 43537 Friday, March 16, at 4:30 p.m. Local Time.
THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of select demolition, maintenance of traffic and safety fence. General construction includes: remove existing 75ft. x 12ft. bridge superstructure (stone embankment, concrete deck, walkway, rail, floor stringers, thru-girders, bearings and abutment railing), concrete modifications to existing abutments, vandal protection safety fence.
